Judith “Judi” Goodrich Camera, 84, a longtime resident of East Haven passed away peacefully on September 12, 2026 at Chatham Place at Mary Wade in New Haven. The beloved mother of Debbie (John) Markowski of Guilford and Ronald (Devon) Camera of Naples, FL. Proud Grandmother of John and Joseph Markowski and Dominic and Gia Camera. Sister of the late Barbara Carrano and David Goodrich. She is survived by several nieces, family and friends that she loved very much.
Judi was born in Jacksonville, FL on April 6, 1942 daughter of the late Leslie and Violet Harvey Goodrich. Before retiring she had a dedicated career at Yale University as a Research Analyst for over 30 years.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength and generosity. She always had a passion for music, dancing, playing bingo, traveling, and occasional trips to the casino. Above all, her greatest joy was being with her family- especially spending cherished time with her grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to a parlor service on THURSDAY morning, September 17, 2026, in the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Family and friends may call THURSDAY morning from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
