NORTHFORD, CT — Starting May 4, the Edward Smith Library will be shuttered for around two to three months as a new heating and ventilation system is installed, North Branford Public Libraries announced.
During construction, all services and programming will be moved to Atwater Memorial Library, 1720 Foxon Road. The library is open Monday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m to 3 p.m.
Folks may still request materials/place holds on library items, but Atwater will be the sole pickup location. All materials can be returned to Atwater or any public library in Connecticut.
