Fatal Crash Investigated In North Haven, Police Ask For Help

Police are asking for help with information in connection with a fatal crash investigation in North Haven.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — Police are asking for help with information in connection with a recent fatal crash in North Haven.

The North Haven Police Department, in conjunction with the South Central Connecticut Traffic Unit, is investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred on March 27 in the area of 128 Washington Avenue, according to police.

“During a canvass of the surrounding area, investigators obtained video footage showing a vehicle that may have contributed to the crash,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “At this time, the vehicle’s identifying information, including the license plate and the identity of the driver, remain unknown.”

“We recognize that the video images are of poor quality; however, even the smallest detail could be critical to this investigation,” police wrote. “We are urging anyone who may have information—no matter how minor it may seem—or who may recognize the vehicle or its owner/operator, to come forward.
