Quinnipiac University Appoints Don Russo Director of Finance for Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine
The North Haven resident brings more than 11 years of finance & administration experience in higher education, healthcare & banking to QU.

Quinnipiac University has appointed Don Russo, of North Haven, director of finance for the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine.
In this role, Russo will provide financial leadership and strategic support for the school, partnering with academic and administrative leaders on budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation and operational decision-making.
Russo brings more than 11 years of finance and administration experience in higher education, healthcare and banking. Most recently, he served as associate director of finance and administration at Yale University, where he supported budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial planning. He previously held finance leadership roles with Morrison Healthcare, HealthPlanOne and the Town of East Haven, as well as TD Bank.

“My experience at Quinnipiac so far has been incredibly positive,” Russo said. “From day one, I’ve been impressed by how welcoming and collaborative everyone has been and by the genuine commitment to the students and the mission of the Netter School. I’m excited to continue building relationships across the school and contribute to the great work already taking place here.”
Russo earned a bachelor of science in accounting and a master of business administration from Albertus Magnus College. His background in financial planning, reporting, accounting and strategic decision support provides a strong foundation for his work supporting the Netter School of Medicine and its mission to prepare future physicians and advance health care.
