Quinnipiac Professor From Madison Honored For Excellence In Business Education

Margaret Goralski, teaching professor and chair of entrepreneurship and strategy at Quinnipiac University, recently received the 2026 PRME North America Chapter Innovation Award in recognition of her contributions to the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) North America Chapter.

“I am deeply honored to receive this recognition from the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) North America Chapter,” Goralski said. “This award celebrates individuals, units and institutions that demonstrate exceptional creativity, originality and ingenuity in advancing the PRME ethos through innovative programs, courses, tools and partnerships.”

Goralski said her work focuses on creating learning experiences that encourage students to think strategically while embracing responsible leadership, sustainability and positive societal impact.

“Receiving this award is especially meaningful because it reflects the collective efforts of colleagues, students and community partners who have helped bring innovative ideas to life,” Goralski said.

The PRME North America Awards are presented at each biennial Chapter Conference to recognize individuals, academic units and institutions for accomplishments that advance the organization’s principles. Recipients are selected based on activities, publications, innovations, collaborations, sustained commitments or service, as well as the impact of their work.

“Professor Goralski's work demonstrates that business education can be both human-centered and forward-looking, equipping students to tackle complex challenges with confidence and integrity,” said Holly Raider, dean of the School of Business at Quinnipiac. “Her achievement underscores our faculty’s commitment to preparing future-ready graduates with the combination of leadership qualities and technical expertise needed to create value responsibly and sustainably.”

Goralski said the recognition motivates her to continue developing new approaches to responsible management education.

“Together, we can prepare future leaders to address complex global challenges with creativity, purpose and impact,” Goralski said.
