Police are asking for help with information regarding a growing trend of street signs being stolen in North Haven.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — North Haven police are asking for help with what they said is a “not-so-great trend going around town… street signs have been disappearing.”

“As much as we appreciate a good home décor upgrade, street signs actually play a pretty important role (like helping people—and emergency services—figure out where they’re going),” police wrote in a post on Facebook.

Police said the street sign thefts have taken place throughout town over the past six months.
