Suspects Sought In Illegal Dumping Incident In North Haven

"I have said it before and I will repeat it again, 'they can run but they can't hide,'" First Selectman Michael Freda wrote in a statement.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — Suspects are being sought in connection with another illegal dumping incident in North Haven, according to First Selectman Michael Freda.

In a post on Facebook, Freda shared a photo of several couches that were dumped in the area of Valley Service Road in North Haven.

“All of our fine citizens deserve much better than this and I am here to tell you that we will pursue this criminal activity, and we are seeking to arrest the people who are responsible for this additional illegal dumping on Valley Service Road,” Freda wrote in the post. “We will be reviewing all of our camera’s surveillance on Valley Service Road as I am working with our North Haven Police Department to find them, to arrest them and to ensure that whoever decides to do this again will also be arrested.

“Just like the previous people who were arrested for their nefarious crimes.

“I have said it before and I will repeat it again, ‘they can run but they can’t hide.’ These people will be found, they will be arrested, and they will either clean up the mess themselves or we will bill them for any clean up costs.”
