According to the district, the night will feature a family empowerment workshop, a dedicated session for parents and caregivers focused on navigating digital literacy in today's world, including media balance and online safety.

Families will then rotate through interactive literacy exploration stations that bring learning to life through hands-on experiences, according to the district.

Activities will include digital reading and research stations, coding and online-safety games, creative crafts, immersive story experiences and literacy challenges that strengthen reading skills and spark curiosity, district officials said.

Each station is designed to show how literacy opens doors to imagination, problem-solving, and lifelong learning, according to the district.

A highlight of the evening will be a live reading by nationally recognized Future Ready Librarian and author Shannon McClintock Miller, featuring her book "Sonia's Digital World," which introduces students and families to thoughtful digital citizenship and healthy media habits in an engaging, age-appropriate way, according to the district.
