Car Crashes Into Front Of Restaurant In Norwalk: Police

Police said a car crashed into the front of the building, causing minor damage.

NORWALK, CT — A car crashed into the front of a Norwalk restaurant Tuesday night, causing minor damage, according to the Norwalk Police Department.

In an email to Patch, Police Lt. Tom Podgorski said a Hyundai Elantra crashed into the front of the Romanacci restaurant on Westport Avenue around 7:30 p.m.

No injuries were reported, and damage to the building was minor, according to Podgorski.

The damage was not structural, and the business remained open, Podgorski said.

Podgorski also noted no police action was taken as the incident occurred on private property.
