New Principal Named At Norwalk Catholic School

NORWALK, CT — All Saints Catholic School announced this week Louis Howe has been named the school's new principal and instructional leader as of July 1.

According to a news release provided by the school, Howe was unanimously recommended by the school's search committee and appointed by the Diocese of Bridgeport Office of Catholic Schools "following a prayerful and comprehensive national search."

Howe brings a wealth of experience in Catholic education as a teacher, administrator and faith-filled leader, according to the school.

Howe recently served as principal of St. Joseph School in Danbury, where he led the school through a period of growth and strengthening while remaining firmly committed to the mission of Catholic education, according to All Saints.

Known for his collaborative leadership style and dedication to instructional excellence, Howe "believes Catholic schools should be places where students encounter Christ, discover their God-given gifts and are challenged to reach their full potential," according to the release.

The school also noted Howe's leadership is grounded in a deep commitment to faith formation and academic excellence.

"We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Howe to the All Saints community," Head of School Steven Virgadamo said in a news release. "His experience, faith, and passion for Catholic education make him an outstanding fit for our school. We are excited about the vision and leadership he brings as we continue building on the strong foundation of All Saints."

Howe succeeds Linda Dunn, who retired after 15 years of dedicated service to All Saints and an extraordinary 50-year career in Catholic education, the release notes.

Under Dunn's leadership, All Saints "strengthened its academic programs, deepened its Catholic identity and
continued its tradition of excellence in faith and learning," according to the release.

The release also notes the All Saints community is deeply grateful for her legacy and the lasting impact she has made on generations of students, families and faculty.

Since officially beginning his role on July 1, Howe has been meeting with faculty, staff, families, parish leaders and members of the school community as preparations continue for the 2026-2027 school year, according to All Saints.

"I am truly excited to meet all members of our school community as we begin this new year together.
