Norwalk Easter Weekend Garbage Collection, Yard Waste Site Schedule Released
The city has released its solid waste, recycling and yard waste schedule ahead of the upcoming Easter holiday weekend.
NORWALK, CT — The city has released its solid waste, recycling and yard waste schedule ahead of the upcoming Easter holiday weekend.
According to the city's Facebook page, garbage and recycling schedules will remain on regular schedule for Good Friday, which falls on April 3 this year, meaning anyone with Friday services will still receive their collection pickup on that day.
The Norwalk Transfer Station will remain open on Good Friday, however the Yard Waste Site will be closed that day, according to the city.

Additionally, April 4 is the first Saturday of the spring season that the Yard Waste Site will be open, city officials noted.
According to the city, the Yard Waste Site schedule for spring is:

- Monday-Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Saturday: 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Sunday: Closed.
