Norwalk Teen, 16, Suffered Non-Life-Threatening Gunshot Wound In New Haven Sunday Shooting: NHPD
The teen was a walk-in to Yale New Haven Hospital early Sunday morning, and another teen, 15, was shot in the foot, police said.
NEW HAVEN, CT—A 16-year-old and another teen, 15, were shot in the Fair Haven section of the city Sunday, police said. Both gunshot injuries were non-life-threatening.
According to a post to social media, at around 8:20 Sunday morning, police were called to the Saint Raphael campus of Yale New Haven Hospital for a walk-in gunshot victim. A 16-year-old from Norwalk. As officers were investigating, a 15-year-old was a walk-in to the Yale New Haven Hospital main campus on York Street, police said, suffering from a gunshot wound to the foot.
"The initial investigation indicates that the shootings may have occurred in the Fair Haven section earlier in the morning," Sunday, police said.
