Popular Pizzeria 'Coming Soon' To Norwalk
A sign has gone up at a building in Norwalk teasing that a popular CT pizzeria will be "coming soon" to the city.
NORWALK, CT — A popular Stamford pizzeria is teasing a new location opening in Norwalk in the near future.
A sign could be seen Wednesday afternoon at 14 Belden Avenue advertising that Pappas Pizza will be "coming soon" to the former Elvira's Pizza space.
Signs noting the pizzeria's current downtown Stamford location, as well as the business' website and a phone number, could also be seen on the building and in the window.

The signs also noted Pappas Pizza is "family owned and operated" with items "made fresh daily."
Requests for comment from the restaurant were not immediately returned. A call placed to the phone number listed on the sign was not answered.

Located at 201 Main Street in Stamford, Pappas Pizza has been family owned since 1960, according to the pizzeria's website.
The Stamford restaurant offers Greek-style pizza, gyros, wings, calzones, salads and pasta, as well as catering, pickup, delivery and late night food, according to the website.
"For more than six decades, Pappas Pizza Stamford has been a family-owned restaurant serving the Stamford community with the food people know and love," the website reads. "Since 1960, three generations of the Pappas family have helped build a local favorite known for quality, consistency and a welcoming neighborhood feel."
The Stamford pizzeria is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 1 a.m., according to the website.
