Orange Zoning Commission To Hear Subdivision Plans For Derby Milford Road, Boston Post Road
Orange zoning officials will hear subdivision plans for 756 Derby Milford Road and four properties near Boston Post Road.
ORANGE, CT — The Orange Town Plan and Zoning Commission will hold public hearings Sept. 15 on two subdivision proposals, including a plan to divide an 11.43-acre Derby Milford Road property into three parcels for two new single-family homes.
A second application proposes reconfiguring four properties totaling 13.6 acres along Boston Post Road and Edge Place into two lots.
The commission is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. in the lower level of Orange Town Hall, 617 Orange Center Road. The meeting will also be available through Orange Government Access Television and its YouTube livestream.

Three-Lot Subdivision Proposed
The first public hearing concerns a subdivision application submitted by Kevin Marchitto for 756 Derby Milford Road.
The proposal would divide the existing 11.43-acre property into three parcels to allow construction of two new single-family homes.

Boston Post Road Properties Could Be Reconfigured
The second hearing concerns a subdivision application from TKB Holdings Orange LLC involving four properties: 140 Boston Post Road, 142 Boston Post Road, 148 Boston Post Road and 1 Edge Place.
TKB Holdings owns the properties and is proposing to reconfigure the four existing lots into two lots. Together, the properties encompass 13.6 acres and are in the C-1 and LI-1 zoning districts, according to the agenda.
The commission is also scheduled to review minutes from its Sept. 1 meeting and receive a report from the zoning enforcement officer.
