OXFORD, CT — The town’s top school official is inviting residents to pull up a chair and speak directly about what’s on their minds.

Ralph Marino Jr., superintendent of Oxford Public Schools, is launching a series of roundtable discussions aimed at giving parents and community members a chance to raise concerns, share ideas and ask questions in an open setting.

The first session is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 23, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Quaker Farms Firehouse, 403 Quaker Farms Road.

According to the announcement, the goal of the roundtables is to address issues raised by the public and hear firsthand which topics matter most to the community.

Additional sessions are planned for March 25 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Oxford Public Library, with an evening session expected in April. Further details on the April meeting are anticipated.
