Oxford Names New Animal Control Officer

A town official said the hire is now handling all animal control calls in Oxford.

OXFORD, CT — Oxford has hired a new full-time animal control officer after the town’s previous officer left the position this spring.

Danielle Kish started as the town’s animal control officer May 26, Oxford official Arnold Jensen confirmed in an email to Patch.

Jensen said Kish is handling all animal control calls for Oxford.

The move came after Adrienne Croce, Oxford’s previous animal control officer, posted April 4 on the Friends of The Oxford Animal Shelter Facebook page that the previous day was her last day as the town’s animal control officer.

Croce wrote that it had been “a great honor” to serve the community and thanked residents, donors and the police department for their support.
