Ridgefield’s seventh annual Pride in the Park celebration will take place on SATURDAY, JUNE 6 from 12 - 3 pm in Ballard Park, Ridgefield (Rain location: Yanity Gym) with a parade around the park starting at 1pm. Ridgefield Pride in the Park is a free event, open to the public and catering to families, with a variety of activities, crafts, entertainment and informational tables for all ages.
In addition to Pride in the Park, there will be a multitude of celebratory Pride events and Pride Promotions throughout May, June and July with something for everyone, from our tiniest tots to our seniors. Deborah Ann’s Sweet Shoppe will be featuring their popular Pride ice cream for the month of June. Additional Ridgefield-area LGBTQ+ events and promotions will be announced in the coming weeks on our website ridgefieldpride.org.
In these times of social upheaval and division it is essential that we come together and support each other. The LGBTQ community is one of our vulnerable populations, and it is important that we work to lift people up rather than pull them down. Ridgefield CT Pride provides just such an opportunity to do so, so please come join us in celebrating the LGBTQ community.
Ridgefield CT Pride is a non-profit charitable organization that was created in 2019 under the umbrella of the 501(c)3 organization Friends of Ridgefield Community Programs.
