4 Taken To Hospital After West Mountain Road Crash In Ridgefield

Ridgefield police said four people were injured after a car went down an embankment on West Mountain Road.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Four people were taken to Danbury Hospital after a one-car crash Saturday on West Mountain Road, according to Ridgefield police.

Police said officers responded at about 5:56 p.m. to a crash near 450 West Mountain Road.

A white Nissan Pathfinder was found about 70 feet down an embankment with serious damage, police said.

During the investigation, police said they determined the vehicle left the right side of the road, went through a cable guardrail, hit a tree and continued down the embankment before hitting another tree.

The driver, Justin Motisi, one other adult man and two juveniles were taken to Danbury Hospital by the Ridgefield Fire Department with minor injuries, according to police.

Police said Motisi was issued a written warning for traveling too fast for conditions.

The vehicle was towed from the scene.
