We’re excited to invite students in grades 4–7 to campus for S.P.A.R.K.—a free, hands-on morning of discovery at Kingswood Oxford on Saturday, May 16.

S.P.A.R.K. stands for Science. Play. Action. Research. Knowledge, and that’s exactly what the morning is all about. Students will dive into interactive labs, ask big questions, and explore how science connects to the world around them.

Throughout the morning, students will rotate through all three engaging sessions:

Snack Science: Cracking the Code of Carbs, Fats & Proteins

Students will test everyday foods to uncover the building blocks of life - carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins.

From Cabbage to Chemistry: A Color-Changing Exploration of pH

Using red cabbage as a natural indicator, students will experiment with acids and bases and watch chemistry come alive in vibrant color.

Air Apparent: The Invisible Force All Around Us

Through hands-on experiments, students will explore the properties of air—and discover just how powerful something invisible can be.
