Road Closed After Simsbury Crash: Police

The late-night incident involved a vehicle slamming into a utility pole.

SIMSBURY, CT — Wolcott Road was closed between Wescott Road and Wolcott Woods Road early Monday morning following a vehicle crash that damaged a utility pole, according to the Simsbury Police Department.

Police issued the road closure alert late Sunday night, June 7, and said utility crews are replacing the damaged pole.

The closure was expected to remain in place for "several hours" while repairs were completed.
