Board of Selectmen Meeting June 8, 2026

I would like to report that although Deputy Selectman Steve Antonio filed a no trespass report with the Simsbury Police against me, I have not been arrested or detained by the Simsbury Police, so far.

It is interesting to note that when someone files a complaint against Steve Antonio, nothing happens to him due the special privileges he has attained in Simsbury.

Deputy First Selectman Steve Antonio is willing to use the full force of government to destroy anyone who uses government agencies to file complaints against him.

When concerns are voiced to the Board of Selectmen, First Selectman Wendy Mackstutis bangs her gavel and interrupts the speaker, to protect Deputy First Selectman Steve Antonio who has the devil within.

It appears that Deputy Selectman Steve Antonio has completely gone “off the rails”, by filing a trespass complaint for taking pictures while on his Commercial Real Estate on Hopmeadow Street, Tariffville Road and 133 Holcomb Street.

Deputy Selectman Steve Antonio, during the reporting to the Simsbury Police asked if he could get a Restraining Order against me for walking on his property taking photographs.

The photograph I took of his house was taken across the street.

Deputy First Selectman Steve Antonio stated in the report that, “Antonio was seeking advice as to how to request a restraining order against Coe because he “wants her away from him” and stated “if she can’t come to the board of selectmen meetings because I have a restraining order against her, that’s on her not on me”. I provided him the information in how to obtain a restraining order against Coe and the process involved”.

Deputy First Selectman Steve Antonio is using the full force of government as public official to silence someone at a public meeting but refuses to accept any criticisms concerning his violations of the Simsbury Zoning Regulations.

Deputy First Selectman Steve Antonio is a public figure who has a total disregard for the “rule of law” and no clue as the people’s right to their First Amendment rights of free speech.

Deputy First Selectman Steve Antonio is protected by the Board of Selectman with their silence, condoning his behavior as a public official.

I would like to report that I have not received a restraining order at this time leading me to believe the Judge denied the request that has no merit.

All these interactions started when I noticed that there was a large banner on the Antonio property that I photographed and submitted to the Zoning Official.

I was told that no permits were taken out and Steve Antonio had to remove the banner.

I noticed over time there were more signs posted on the Antonio property and questioned the signage …. more violations.

This progressed with many other unresolved issues that I questioned.

Apparently, Steve Antonio was so incensed that anyone would question his actions, he went after the messenger with the full force of government.

The message our government is sending to the public is that if you dare to bring any concerns before our elected government officials there will be retributions to silence you.

When weaponizing public dialog, democracy is destroyed and government is no longer for the people but for the special interests that control the public forum.

This leads to decay of democracy with no representation for the public interest.

Simsbury has become an elitists community with tax dollars diverted to the special interest groups and paid for by the working-class residents.

Mental illness has become epidemic in our society.

Changes in behavior are attributed to mental illness.

Excessive use of alcohol and other mind-altering drugs have been attributed to the high divorce rate and disorderly conduct.

Many motor vehicle accidents are attributed to impairment due to alcohol or other drugs.

Everyday there are reports of shootings attributed to mental illness.

An increase in homeless people is attributed to mental illness.

Many students enrolled in Specialized Education are suffering from mental illness.

There is high preponderance of people suffering from anxiety or depression.

Adderall is one of the mind-altering designer drugs that has gained in popularity.

Adderall is the brand name of a fixed-dose combination medication used for the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and narcolepsy. It is also used as an athletic performance enhancer, cognitive enhancer, appetite suppressant, and recreationally as a euphoriant.

Mental illness is attributed to many of the dangerous and deadly activity reported every day.

Taking a pill is not a permanent solution to behavior modification.

Recognizing the issue of mental illness is not going to change behavior until there is a public outcry for institutions to house and care for the people suffering from mental illness.
