The Day After: Everything In Southington Is Now Closed: UPDATE
Sunday's snowstorm is mostly over, but the cleanup the day after has Southington officials opting to close several municipal buildings.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — After originally announcing early closings for Southington municipal offices, town officials outright closed them Monday morning due to the weather.
Southington Town Manager Alex Ricciardone said Town of Southington facilities on Monday, Jan. 26, are now closed due to the weather and the post-storm clean-up.
Those, he said, include Southington Town Hall, the Southington Public Library, the Calendar House Senior/Community Center, and Southington Community Services.
