Free Books Available For Southington Children This Week

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Children will have two opportunities to pick out a free book when the Read to Grow Bookmobile visits Southington on Friday, Aug. 14.

The Early Childhood Collaborative of Southington and Read to Grow are organizing the summer bookmobile tour, with stops planned at DePaolo Middle School and the Southington Town Green.

The first stop will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bread for Life's Summer Lunch Program at DePaolo Middle School, 385 Pleasant St.

The bookmobile will then visit the Southington Farmers Market on the Southington Town Green, 75 N. Main St., from 3 to 6 p.m.

Children may select a free book from the Read to Grow Bookmobile at either stop.
