Southington Summer Camp Registration Now Open For Kids 5-12

There are three separate sessions of summer camp in June and July of this year.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — As cold and snowy as this winter has been, the return of summer will happen in 2026.

It always does.

And one task Southington parents must do is register their children for summer camp, something that officially kicked off on Monday, March 2.

Southington’s Recreation Department opened registration for its 2026 Summer Camp program at 10 a.m. Monday, March 2, according to an announcement from the town.

There are three separate sessions of summer camp: June 22 - July 1; July 6-July 17; and July 20 to July 31.

Camp will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily.

The program is open exclusively to Southington resident children ages 5 to 12, including those living in the Plantsville, Marion, and Milldale sections of town.

Camp activities will be held at Recreation Park and South End Elementary School on Maxwell Noble Drive in Plantsville.

Each child may register for a maximum of two sessions, totaling four weeks.
