Southington Touch-A-Truck Returns This Weekend
Southington's annual Touch-A-Truck event returns with construction vehicles and family activities.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 72 and the Southington Recreation Department will host the 22nd annual Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday, May 16, at the Southington Drive-In.
The family event will take place at 995 Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike. A rain date has been scheduled for Sunday, May 17.
This year’s event will include a new sensory-friendly quiet hour from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by general admission from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Children attending the event will have an opportunity to explore construction, military, emergency, and other specialty vehicles.
Additional activities will include face painting, glitter tattoos, and refreshments.

Admission is $4 per child, while adults will be admitted free.
