SunMed Shutters 3 Your CDB Store Locations In CT, Including Southington

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Southington is among three Your CDB stores in three Connecticut to have closed.

SunMed, the parent company of the stores, posted placards on the windows of the local store announcing the move.

"We've closed," they said. "To our loyal customers: Our Avon, Vernon and Southington stores are now permanently closed. We sincerely thank you for your continued support and for allowing us to serve you and your community."

In all, three stores have immediately closed at the following addresses:

• Vernon at 425 Talcottville Road
• Southington at 1045 Queen St.
• Avon at 380 West Main St.

The signs on the store windows were offering 20 percent off online orders (via a special code) as consolation prizes.

Online location searches also indicated the three stores were "permanently closed" Monday afternoon, but on the SunMed website, regular hours were still posted for the three locations.

Your CBD Store bills itself as the largest hemp retailer in the United States. It markets the hemp-derived SunMed and Sunflora products.

The company has more than 500 stores in 41 states.
