Veteran Law Enforcer Welcomed To Southington PD's Ranks

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The Southington Police Department has added a new officer with six years of law enforcement experience to its ranks.

Officer Dustin Belfiore officially joined the department Aug. 31, according to an announcement from Southington police.

The department said Belfiore brings six years of police experience to his new position in Southington.

“His background, professionalism, and commitment to public service will be a strong addition to our team and to the Southington community,” the department said.

“Please join us in welcoming Officer Belfiore as he begins his service with our department,” police said.

His prior police stints were in Savannah, Ga., and West Hartford.
