Car Goes Into Woods In South Windsor
Firefighters, police and ambulance crews responded Tuesday morning to John Fitch Boulevard.
SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A driver was not injured after a one-car crash Tuesday morning on John Fitch Boulevard, according to the South Windsor Fire Department.
Firefighters, South Windsor police and Ambulance Service of Manchester responded just before 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, to the area of 1695 John Fitch Blvd., also known as Route 5, for a crash in the southbound lanes, fire officials said.

The vehicle left the roadway and came to rest in a wooded area, according to the fire department and a photo shared from the scene.

The driver was the only person in the vehicle and got out on their own, fire officials said.
The roadway remained open, though the right lane was closed briefly while crews worked at the scene.
