South Windsor Police Seek Tips After Tree Knocked Down At Rye Street Park

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — South Windsor police are asking residents for help after a motor vehicle collision knocked over a tree at Rye Street Park, according to a department post.

The incident happened sometime between Monday, May 4, at 2:30 p.m. and Tuesday, May 5, at 2:30 p.m., according to the South Windsor Police Department.

In the post, the department wrote, "SWPD is looking to see if anyone has any information regarding a motor vehicle collision in which this tree at Rye Street Park was knocked over."

The South Windsor Police Department wrote, "The incident would have occurred between Monday, May 4th, at 2:30 PM and yesterday, May 5th, at 2:30 PM." The department also provided contact information for the investigating officer in the same post.
