WILLINGTON, CT — A historic Willington property described as an “original homestead” on Seckar Road has come on the market for $369,000.

The 1900 Cape Cod-style home at 79 Seckar Road is located near the Willington-Ashford town line and includes two bedrooms, one full bathroom and 1,212 square feet of living space, according to the Zillow listing.

The property sits on 17.73 acres spread across three parcels. The main 5.75-acre parcel contains the house, while another parcel covers 0.88 acres and a third contains 11.01 acres that is described as an additional building lot.

Zillow describes the house as having undergone renovations while retaining several older features, including extra-wide pine floors, exposed beams and board-and-batten siding that was sourced and milled on the property. The listing also cites new insulation, drywall and fresh paint.

The upstairs area has a flexible layout that can serve as a primary bedroom, second bedroom, office or playroom/game room.
