1 Dead In Stamford House Fire, Others Rescued: Reports
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner was on scene Friday afternoon, according to a local media report.
STAMFORD, CT — One person died in a house fire in Stamford early Friday morning, and two others were rescued, according to a report from News 12 CT.
The fire broke out at a home in the 100 block of Woodmere Road near Scalzi Park in the early morning hours, News 12 CT reported, noting firefighters encountered intense flames but were able to quickly knock the blaze down.
Stamford Advocate reported the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner was on scene as of Friday afternoon.
