2026 Stamford Day Event To Celebrate City's History And Cultural Diversity

The event is being organized by the Mayor's Multicultural Council in partnership with the Mill River Park Collaborative.

STAMFORD, CT — Stamford Day 2026, a free, family-friendly event celebrating the city’s history and cultural diversity, is scheduled for Sunday, May 31, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Mill River Park near the fountain.

The event is being organized by the Mayor’s Multicultural Council in partnership with the Mill River Park Collaborative.

Activities are set to include a history hunt, coloring, face painting, raffles, art displays, music and dance performances. Food trucks will be on site with items available for purchase.

The event will be held rain or shine. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs.

Free parking will be available at the UConn parking lot at 1194 Washington Blvd.
