6th Annual Summer Block Party Announced By Stamford Town Center: Details

STAMFORD, CT — Stamford Town Center has announced plans for its sixth annual Summer Block Party, scheduled for June 20-21 on the shopping center’s restaurant plaza.

The event, hosted in partnership with Hey Stamford!, Stamford Moms and BFAMERICAS, is set to run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days at 230 Tresser Blvd. Organizers said admission will be free.

The annual event has expanded since it began six years ago and now includes entertainment, food vendors and family activities aimed at showcasing Stamford’s arts, culture and business community.

"Our Summer Block Party is truly one of our favorite events of the year. It’s the perfect way to kick off the summer and bring our community together with one incredible celebration," said STC General Manager Dan Stolzenbach in an announcement.

"What started as a celebration has evolved into a signature event that truly showcases the vibrant spirit of Stamford. Each year, we’ve watched this event grow alongside our community, and we’re excited to continue serving as the central meeting place where neighbors become friends and memories are made."

The free event will feature live entertainment including local bands, dance groups, magicians, characters and a DJ.

Participating restaurant plaza businesses are expected to offer special menu items and food stations throughout the weekend, with food and beverages available for purchase.

Additional activities are set to include face painting, balloon artists, games and a vendor marketplace featuring local businesses. Raffle prizes from STC retailers will also be offered during the event.

Parking will be available in the STC garage.
