Tastings, Giveaways Planned At Olde Mistick Village Anniversary Event

The event is coming up later this month with refreshments, guided tasting room experiences and hourly door prizes.

MYSTIC, CT — Three Olde Mistick Village shops will celebrate 15 years in business with an open house featuring tastings, refreshments and giveaways.

Sticky Situations, Extra Virgin and Tartufo will hold the “Bees and Trees” Open House from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, at their locations inside Olde Mistick Village.

The free event will include refreshments, guided tasting room experiences and hourly door prizes. The shops, which specialize in products including honey, olive oils, balsamic vinegars, pasta and sauces, were founded in Mystic in 2011.

“We started 15 years ago in Mystic with a passion for genuine, unprocessed food and educational tasting room experiences,” founder Stephen J. Clemente said in a statement.

The Mystic business has since expanded to seven locations across Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Michigan.

The Oct. 13 event will also kick off the Golden Jars Giveaway, which runs through Dec. 31. Fifteen customers who find winning QR codes under the lids of Sticky Situations honey jars will receive a case of honey.

The three Mystic shops are located at Olde Mistick Village, 27 Coogan Blvd.
