Man Accused Of Operating Drug Factory At Smoke Shop In Stratford: Police
More than 14 pounds of THC/cannabis was seized and a man was arrested after a raid on a smoke shop in Stratford, according to police.
STRATFORD, CT — More than 14 pounds of THC/cannabis was seized and a man was arrested after a raid on a smoke shop in Stratford last Friday, according to police.
The Stratford Police Department’s Narcotic, Vice and Intelligence Unit executed a search warrant around 11 a.m. on Sept. 18 at the Infinity Smoke Shop at 1277 West Broad Street, according to Capt. Jerry Pinto.
The NVI Unit was assisted by agents from the State of Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection, according to Pinto.

Pinto said 14.263 pounds of THC/Cannabis was seized, along with $220 in cash.
Abdulwahab Alsaidi, 41, was arrested and charged with illegal production of a controlled substance without a license, illegal sale of a narcotics substance - cannabis/THC over 1 kilogram, illegal sale of narcotics (kratom schedule 1) and illegal operation of a drug factory. He was released after posting a $25,000 bond with a court date of Sept. 28.
