The venue is a "restaurant, arcade, and bar experience built around classic games that defined generations," according to its owners.

STRATFORD, CT — The eagerly anticipated Deep 6 Arcade officially opened its doors in Stratford this week.

Deep 6 Arcade, which features classic arcade games along with a restaurant and bar, is located at 2505 Main St. in Stratford, directly across from the Stratford Train Station inside Station House Square. The site was previously eyed for a new IHOP location.

Deep 6 Arcade was founded by “people who love restoring classic arcade machines,” according to a post on its website.

“For us, bringing these games back to life feels like preserving a small piece of history,” the post reads. “Over the past five years we’ve repaired, serviced, and restored arcade machines for amusement parks, private collectors and traditional arcades all around the world. Now we’re bringing many of our games out of our workshops and into one place where everyone can enjoy.”
