Suffield Fire Department Swears In New Firefighter, Promotes Two Members
The department welcomed a new career firefighter and promoted two longtime volunteers during a ceremony held in Suffield.
SUFFIELD, CT — The Suffield Fire Department held a swearing-in ceremony recognizing a new hire and two promotions, according to a post shared by State Rep. Tami Zawistowski.
Firefighter Nicholas Liquori was sworn in as a career firefighter, joining the department as a new member. The ceremony also included promotions for Lieutenant Paul Godin and Captain Michael Nicora, both of whom currently serve as volunteers with the department.

The legislator congratulated the honorees and thanked Suffield’s firefighters for their service, also recognizing the support provided by their families.
