Suffield Town Hall Offers Free Notary Services

SUFFIELD, CT — The Suffield Town Clerk is reminding residents that notary services are available at Town Hall whenever the building is open.

Notarization is free for Suffield residents, with optional donations accepted for Suffield Community Aid. Non-residents are charged $5 per document.

Officials said anyone seeking notarization must bring the document to be notarized and a valid photo ID, and the document must be signed in front of the notary. If a document requires witnesses, residents are responsible for bringing their own.

While the office can notarize many common forms, some documents cannot be notarized. Residents with questions about eligibility are encouraged to call the Town Clerk’s Office at 860-668-3880 before coming in.
