Multiple Overnight Car Break-Ins Reported In East Lyme

Information via the East Lyme Police Department:

The East Lyme Police Department is currently investigating multiple overnight car break-ins in the Black Point area.

How You Can Help:

Check Security Cameras: Please review your outdoor security footage between 12:00 AM and 3:00 AM. If you capture any suspicious activity or individuals, please forward the video to investigating Officer Scannelli (#922) at bscannelli@eastlymepolice.org.

Report Missing Items: If you noticed this morning that your vehicle was entered or had items taken, please contact Dispatch at 860-739-5900 to file a report.

Reminders for All Residents: Lock your vehicle doors every night

Remove all valuables (wallets, electronics, key fobs) from parked cars

Report suspicious activity immediately
