Music Concert/Film Documentary Featuring The Allman Brothers Band

<p>The <strong>90th Hartford County 4-H Fair</strong> returns to <strong>56 Egypt Road in Somers, CT, August 14–16</strong>, celebrating 90 fairs of 4-H tradition and community.</p>
<p>Enjoy livestock and 4-H exhibits, food trucks, live music, robotics, kids’ activities, demonstrations, and more. On Saturday from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM, visitors can get up close with big vehicles at Touch-a-Truck, featuring utility vehicles, tractors, garbage trucks, and more. Barrel train and wagon rides, Doodlebug pulls, a horse draw, and the 90th Fair Celebration are also part of the weekend.</p>
<p>Fair hours are 8:00 AM–9:30 PM Friday and Saturday and 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Sunday. Admission is $7, seniors $4, and free for military with ID and children 3 and under. Parking is free.</p>

Finex Credit Union

<p>Finex Credit Union will host a Shred Day on Saturday, September 19, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at its Vernon branch, located at 60 Hyde Avenue, Vernon, CT. The event is open to the public.</p>
<p>The event will give community members an opportunity to securely dispose of sensitive documents in a safe and convenient way. Attendees may bring up to three boxes of paper documents per person. Only paper documents will be accepted for shredding.</p>
<p>In addition to shredding services, Finex will also be accepting non-perishable food donations for Hockanum Valley Community Council Food Pantry during the event.</p>
<p>Finex invites community members to stop by with documents to shred and, if they are able, bring a non-perishable food item to donate.</p>
