How you wake up may not be your choice. How you begin your day is. What if you could start your day with a clean slate instead of yesterday's stress? For many of us, stress begins before our feet hit the floor — we're replaying yesterday, previewing today, and worrying about tomorrow before the day has even started.
In this workshop, Dr. Stefanie Toise will introduce Simple Practices for a Calmer Start to Your Day, showing us how to interrupt that cycle and begin your day with a present mind — meeting the day you're actually in, instead of carrying yesterday's stress into it.
You'll learn Morning Anchors™ — simple, evidence-based practices drawn from behavioral science, positive psychology, mindfulness, and mind-body medicine. These small, intentional habits build a foundation of calm before the day's demands take over, supporting focus, healthier choices, and resilience.
Calm is not a personality trait. It's a practice.
The session includes a guided relaxation experience to quiet the mind and release physical tension — plus practical tools you can use the very next morning to begin your day with greater calm, clarity, and confidence.
