TOLLAND, CT — A truck took out a pair of utility poles in Tolland last week.

The crash took place at 3:52 p.m. on Sugar Hill Road, state police said.

According to a crash report, the truck was headed north on Sugar Hill, about 250 feet past Bakos Road along the 200 block, when the top of it made contact with overhead Frontier wires.

As the truck pulled on the wires, two poles were toppled, according to a crash report.

Some homes were without service while repairs were made.
