Thursday Was A Low Wire Act For Responders In Tolland
Felled wires kept firefighters in Tolland busy Thursday.
TOLLAND, CT — Tolland firefighters were wired over wires Thursday.
Tolland Stage Road was closed, for about six hours, from the Exit 69 ramp to South River Road, for repairs following an accident during the morning commute.
Old Post Road was closed at about 5:30 p.m, along the 100 block for a tree on wires.

Walbridge Hill Road, which previously had a tree and wires down, remained open.
By 8:46 p.m., outages were "fewer than 4" according to the Eversource map.
