Important Note for Upcoming Boarding:
If you have plans to board your dog at any point before May 31, please make sure to obtain or renew their license before you arrive at the facility.
Most boarding locations require proof of a current license, and having this sorted ahead of time will save you from potential headaches when dropping your pet off.
How to License Your Dog:
If you still need to take care of this, you can complete the process by:
- Online: Tollandct.gov
- In-Person: Visit the Town Clerk’s Office
- By Mail: Send request and appropriate fee to Tolland Town Clerk, 21 Tolland Green
*This notice is strictly for the current 2025-2026 licensing year. If you have already renewed for this cycle, you are all set!
Next Year’s Licensing: Please be advised that the licensing for the upcoming 2026-2027 year does not open until June 1, 2026. This reminder is specifically to address current needs, not early renewals for the next year.
We appreciate you being a responsible pet owner! If you have any questions or are unsure of your current status, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our office at 860-871-3630.
Wishing you and your furry companion a wonderful and stress-free start to the season.
Warmly,
The Town Clerk’s Office
