If you’re hosting family members or friends for Thanksgiving and looking to enhance the meal with an eye-popping centerpiece on your table, Trumbull Congregational Church has just the ticket.
As part of its weekly “Wellness Wednesdays at TCC” series, the church will be conducting a workshop at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 18, with Maryann Ciambriello, owner of the local floral design studio Bloom & Co. During the session, attendees will receive instruction on creating a centerpiece nestled inside a pumpkin that is almost guaranteed to wow your guests.
The date listed above – Thursday, Nov. 12 – is the deadline to register for the two-hour workshop by clicking here. The cost is $65, which covers all materials.
Meanwhile, the church’s secular Wellness Wednesday series has several other upcoming programs scheduled, including the following:
• A two-hour mandala painting workshop for Christmas ornaments with Mindful Mandalas by Michelle on Dec. 2. The cost is $40, with registration required by Sunday, Nov. 29.
• One-hour Mindful Meditation sessions on Nov. 11 and Dec. 9 that each cost $15, with drop-in participants welcome on both dates.
• A two-hour Community Cookie Swap on Dec. 16 that also costs $15, with registration mandatory by Sunday, Dec. 13.
The programs always begin at 6 p.m. and are open to all members of the community, with no prior experience necessary for any of the activities.
