Joyce (Coveyduck) Meehan obituary: Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, East Haven

Joyce (Coveyduck) Meehan, 83, of Trumbull, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family after a courageous battle with illness. She was born on July 3, 1942, in New Haven, Connecticut, Joyce was the daughter of Jack and Agnes Coveyduck. She graduated from Wilbur Cross High School and attended Albertus Magnus College.

On September 5, 1964, Joyce married Richard Meehan, beginning a loving partnership that spanned 61 years. Together, they raised three children: Keith (Paula) Meehan, Sean (Maura) Meehan, and Megan Meehan. She was the proud grandmother of Killian Meehan, Molly (Peter) Whitmore, Maiti (Blake) Braswell, Sawyer (Ajalyn) Meehan, and the cherished great-grandmother of Myles Baker Braswell.

Joyce dedicated 20 years to the Trumbull School System as a paraprofessional, where she touched the lives of countless students. She enjoyed gardening, sports, and spending time with her family, who were the center of her life. Known for her honesty, strength, and devotion to those she loved, Joyce will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday July 22, 2026 from 10:30 AM until the time of service at 11:30 AM in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave. East Haven with burial to follow at East Lawn Cemetery, East Haven.
