Trumbull High School Among Top 20 In CT: U.S. News & World Report
The publication recently released its 2026-27 "Best High Schools rankings."
TRUMBULL, CT — Trumbull High School is the 19th best in Connecticut, according to the U.S. News & World Report recently released 2026-27 Best High Schools rankings.
The publication evaluated thousands of public high schools throughout the country to determine its national and state rankings, looking at measures including college readiness, graduation rates and student achievement.
Trumbull High School, which ranked 1,020th nationally, received its highest marks in College Readiness and College Curriculum Breadth, according to the report.

Additionally, the publication reviewed how well a school educates underserved students, and participation and performance on Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate exams, among other criteria.
The rankings use data from the 2023-2024 school year and were produced with research firm RTI International.
