When you visit Lyman Orchards for&nbsp;<a href="https://lymanorchards.com/pick-your-own/pumpkins/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Pick Your Own Pumpkins</a> on select weekends and holidays in October, we'll donate&nbsp;2.85¢ for every pound of pumpkins picked to Middlesex Health Comprehensive Breast Center.
The 2.85¢ donation is a special nod to our&nbsp;285th anniversary&nbsp;this year. So grab your family, head to the pumpkin patch, and pick your pumpkins while helping support breast health care in our community.
Pick for Pink dates: October 3, 4, 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 24, 25 and 31.
Come enjoy one of our favorite fall traditions, pick your own pumpkins, explore the farm and make a difference while you're here!

Pick Your Own Pumpkin Pricing for 2026:
$8 for a small pumpkin (1-10 lbs.)
$11 for a medium pumpkin (10 - 15 lbs.)

This October, the frights return to Lyman Orchards with The Orchard Trials: Haunted House (formerly Evidence of Evil) — Connecticut’s ORIGINAL Interactive Haunted Attraction. This isn't your typical haunted house. It's a fully immersive horror experience where you're part of the story, Think you're brave enough? Think again. Ranked among the best haunts in the region, The Orchard Trials blends cinematic storytelling, live actors, and high-intensity scares that'll leave you gripping your friends and questioning your life choices. Perfect for a night out with friends, a terrifying date night, or just to prove you're the fearless one in the group. This attraction is rated PG-13 and children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Our group size maximum is 6 guests. Join us for an important discussion of Connecticut's tax structure, its disproportionate effect on certain demographic groups, and how to ensure tax equity for everyone in our community. The conversation will be facilitated by Tonishia Signore, Policy Director at She Leads Justice and board member for the Connecticut Paid Leave Authority. After the presentation and discussion, attendees will receive resources explaining important policy initiatives for CT's 2027 Legislative Session &amp; tools to help them get involved in advocacy.

Celebrity Chef Carla Hall will be at the Apple Barrel Farm Market on Thursday, October 15th, for an evening celebrating her brand-new cookbook,&nbsp;Carla Bakes. Meet Carla during a special book signing from 5-6:30 PM, then stick around for a live recipe demonstration at 6:30 PM featuring a recipe from her new cookbook.

Experience a hard cider tasting like no other! Join us for a special Friday evening featuring locally crafted hard ciders, crisp flavors, and an unforgettable evening at Lyman Orchards.
Sample six 4 oz. hard ciders while exploring our famous Corn Maze during this special tasting event on&nbsp;Friday, September 11th &amp; Friday, October 16th from 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM. (Last entry for the corn maze is 20 minutes&nbsp;before sunset!)
Tickets are $40 per person, and includes:
<ul><li>Six 4oz. hard cider samples from three local cideries (Including Lyman's 1741 Hard Cider!)</li><li>Entry to the Corn Maze</li><li>Lawn games including corn hole, 3 mini golf putts, potato sack races, Jenga &amp; more!</li></ul>

Event is 21+.&nbsp;Everyone must show ID to enter. No children allowed, no exceptions.
As part of your hard cider tasting experience, we invite you to arrive any time during the hard cider tasting hours and sample hard cider from three cideries that will be set up outside of the maze. Then, meander through the pathways of the&nbsp;corn maze!&nbsp;Last entry for the corn maze is right before sunset!&nbsp;After that, don't forget to play some corn hole, do a potato sack race, use the mini golf putting area, Jenga, and more!
We suggest you wear boots and bring a flashlight as it may get dark before you finish your journey in the maze!
