Celebrate Wallingford 2026: Here's What To Know

Wallingford's two-day event, featuring food, a beer & wine tent, activities, and entertainment, will be held this weekend.

WALLINGFORD, CT — This weekend’s weather is looking good for the town’s annual Celebrate Wallingford event, especially on Saturday with sunny skies and temperatures around 70 degrees. It will be cooler on Sunday, with a high around 64 degrees, with increasing clouds, and periods of showers later in the day.

The Celebrate Wallingford event is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 4, and is located at North and South Main Street and Center Street in Wallingford.

The two-day festival features food vendors, activities for the kids, entertainment, business vendors, craft booths, and more. There is no cost to attend the all-ages, family-friendly event.

“Hosted by Wallingford Center Inc., Celebrate Wallingford is a 2-day festival, highlighting the heart and soul of the Wallingford community,” reads a post on the Wallingford Center, Inc. website. “Whether you're indulging in the culinary delights, shopping local, dancing to live music, or simply soaking up the vibrant atmosphere, it's an event that promises cherished memories and a deeper appreciation for all that Wallingford has to offer.”

Food, drinks, and goods are available for purchase. A “Happy Hour On Main” with beer, wine, and cocktail vendors will be available. There is a $2 entry fee for “Happy Hour On Main.” Wristband presales for Oct. 3 can be found here, and presales for Oct. 4 here.

The event’s second Car Show will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3, on Center Street (on the hill off Main Street).

The Fishbein/YMCA Road Race is part of the celebration on Sunday, Oct. 4. The road race will start at approximately 9 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 4, commencing at the Wallingford YMCA Eastside Branch located at 81 South Elm Street. The race will end on South Main Street near its intersection with Prince Street.

Registration for the event is only available online and will remain open until 8:30 am on race day, according to organizers. Read more details about the race here.
