Daly said that while the interim role is a “new opportunity for me, my commitment to Wallingford goes back many years.”

“I am a graduate of Lyman Hall High School, and prior to my administrative role, I served here as an English teacher for 14 years,” Daly wrote in a message to families. “My primary focus in the coming weeks will be providing stability and consistency during this transition. In terms of the 26/27 school year, we are committed to working to provide a welcoming and supportive environment that also challenges students in ways that will prepare them for life after high school.

“My experiences as a student and educator in Wallingford have shaped who I am and how I approach this important work. I look forward to collaborating with Lyman Hall's faculty and staff and the community at large to keep Lyman Hall moving forward.”
